%A Ciurcina, Marco %D 2020 %T Hacker Ethics? %K %X As digital technologies developed, groups of people calling themselves hackers arose. Today the term hacker is used to identify people connected to digital technologies with different meanings. When hackers interact and form a social group, they organize themselves around ethical values: the social ethics of that group. The question is whether there is only one way of understanding the expression “ hacker ethics ” as a characterizing element of the social, technological and cultural systems that refer to the term hacker.
